Plan Your Aquaventure Waterpark Visit: Rules, Facilities and Tips

Aquaventure Waterpark: Visitor Guidelines

Height and Age: Some rides are only open to guests taller than 1.2m. Children under 13 must be with an adult to enter the park.

Safety: Follow the lifeguards' instructions and the rules posted at each ride, and stick to slides that suit your height and confidence.

Cabanas: Premium seating and private cabanas can be booked for the day if you want a base for your group.

Dress Code: Swimsuits, speedos, rash guards, board shorts and burkinis are all fine. Cotton tops, jeans, long trousers, abayas, sarees, underwear and see-through items are not.

Aquaventure Waterpark is open daily from 10 AM until sunset. Our Timings page has the full schedule for Atlas Village and the Lost World Aquarium.

Best Time to Visit:

December to February is the mild season and the most comfortable time for a long day outside. Summers, from June to August, are extremely hot and humid, with average highs around 41°C.

Whatever the season, weekday mornings are calmer than weekends.

Lockers: Small and large lockers can be rented for the day.

Towels: Rent a large beach towel at the park entrance or at any Guest Services kiosk.

Hotel Guests: Atlantis guests get free towels, which they collect from the cabanas inside the waterpark.

Frequently Asked Questions About Visiting Aquaventure Waterpark

Can I rent lockers and towels at Aquaventure Waterpark?

Yes. Small and large lockers are available for the day, and beach towels can be rented at the entrance or any Guest Services kiosk.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No. Outside food, drinks, glassware and alcohol aren't allowed, and bags may be checked at the entrance.

Can I take my phone or camera on the rides?

Phones are allowed in a waterproof neck pouch. Selfie sticks, handheld GoPros and other action cameras aren't allowed on slides.

Can children visit Aquaventure on their own?

Only from age 13. Younger children must enter with an adult.

Can I book a cabana at Aquaventure Waterpark?

Yes. Private cabanas and premium seating can be booked for the day.

Is Aquaventure Waterpark wheelchair accessible?

Water wheelchairs are available so guests with mobility needs can use the slides, rivers and beach.

Can I visit Aquaventure while pregnant?

You can, but many slides aren't recommended during pregnancy. The rivers and beach are better choices.

Where can I buy swimwear or souvenirs?

There are kiosks inside the waterpark, and several stores in The Avenues at Atlantis sell souvenirs and swimwear.
